About the firm

About us

Our consulting work draws on several interlocking practices: research and product, design and customers, communication and project. Presentations come and go; we have found these principles to be timeless.

The charter

The charter of principles

Three articles the practice keeps, stated plainly rather than dressed up as a mission statement.

I

Honesty & clarity

As a partner, we strive for honesty and clarity. Our first job is to understand the client's vision and needs, not to present our own. We favour prototypes over presentations, and meeting in person, digitally or over a drink or a meal.

II

A considered portfolio

It is still too early to weigh in on the success of our portfolio. We would rather let the work settle and speak for itself than claim more than we can show.

III

Heritage, suited to local needs

We are proud of our background and heritage, but do not consider ourselves exponents of it. The final product must first and foremost be suited to local needs.

The people

The team

Placeholder: to be confirmed with the client. The CBLU team roster is being confirmed with the practice. We will publish names, roles and portraits once they are verified, rather than list anyone we cannot yet stand behind.
